Vehicle Description
The first generation Mustang set the car buying public into a
frenzy, with sales far surpassing even Ford's optimistic goals. The
combination of different engines, transmissions, and body
configurations meant that there was a saddle to fit every Mustang
customer. This ability to be customized to each individuals
preference is what still drives the Mustangs popularity to this
day. The classic 1966 Mustang pictured here has been built into a
multi talented street and strip car. It has the ability to go for
long cruises, be shown, or raced at the strip. Under the hood beats
the heart of a true stallion. The 351CI small block Ford has been
bored and stroked by the folks at Mustang Specialties to an inch of
its life, resulting in 409 cubic inches of ground pounding
displacement. This torque monster features AFR 205 aluminum heads,
Edelbrock RPM intake, Pro systems 950 double pumper carburetor, a
.570 lift roller cam from Comp. Cams, 1.6 ratio roller rockers, MSD
ignition, and March serpentine drive belt conversion. Backing this
up is a built Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission with a reverse
manual valve body, B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, and front mounted
fluid cooler. This unit puts power back to the rear wheels through
a heavy duty Ford 8 rear axle with custom shortened Moser 31 spline
axles and limited slip. This beast sounds as mean as she is,
breathing hard through full length ceramic coated headers onto a
custom 3 x-pipe and 2 chamber ultra flow mufflers dumping right
under the floor boards. This is the sound of rolling American
thunder!! The chassis of this manly Mustang has been beefed up with
a 6 point roll cage with easy entry door cutouts, Global West tower
support, sub frame connectors, and negative roll control arms.
Steering and suspension have been upgraded as well with Varishock
adjustable coil overs with 2 drop, Flaming River manual rack and
pinion and polished tilt steering column. The rear suspension
features a full ladder bar conversion, 12 mini tubs, and four wheel
disc brakes all around. Wheels and tires are polished five spoke
aluminum wheels, sized 18 in front and 20 rear, wrapped in super
sticky Nitto 555R radial tires. The exterior of the mean Mustang
has a killer stance, newer Charcoal grey paint, LED head and tail
lights and lower splitter scraping the ground up front. Inside
you'll find a fully finished interior with custom painted dash and
door panels, Autometer gauges, custom center console, and an
outrageous sound system. The glove box door is signed by that
master of all things Mustang, Mr. Carroll Shelby himself!! This
Mustang has it all, but she won't be hanging around this corral
long! Call Brian at 352-307-1968 and take this stallion home
today!! FEES & TAX INFORMATION - We are a licensed dealer in the
