Beautiful color combination! Luxury meets sportiness. It has
leather, plenty of power accessories and premium trim in and out to
keep it classy. The bucket seats with a console and tachometer
along with a rumbling exhaust coming out each 1/4 panel gives you
some excitement. We just spent $5,000 servicing this car, including
a rebuilt trans.
EXTERIOR: The big, long body panels are straight and fit nice.
Gorgeous factory Royal Blue color. The paint presents nicely but is
not show quality. The chrome and trim appear to be original and
shows age. I love the taillights with the Olds emblems. The coolest
feature is the factory exhaust that exits through the rear quarter
moldings. Optional wire wheel hubcaps with spinners.
INTERIOR: Luxurious and sporty. Genuine leather upholstery on the
seats. They are reupholstered and soft. Buckets in front with a
console and factory tachometer. Driver seat is power, has seatbelts
in front. Sharp looking door panels in great shape front and back.
They have brushed stainless trim, power windows and rare power vent
windows. Unique designed dash is in great shape, not cut or broken.
The steering wheel is on a tilt column. Interior lights are
working, all 8 of them! The warranty booklet is in the glovebox.
Nice blue carpet and Olds floormats. Nice white headliner, has Olds
vanity mirror on the visor.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a big 425 making 370 HP. It looks stock-
manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner etc. Features include power
steering and brakes. Overall proper looking. It still has the
original glass washer fluid bottle.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Giant trunk! Carpeted floor and has jack and
spare assembly. It came with a power trunk, it's not
functional.
UNDERSIDE: We just had the trans professionally rebuilt. Original
Turbo 400 automatic has original 1965 tag riveted to it. Front end
components look good. The dual exhaust does exit through the 1/4
panels. It is solid.
Great looking car that you rarely see. It's serviced and ready to
enjoy!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
