2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet For Sale - Nicely Optioned 911
Turbo! LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 2008 Porsche 911
Turbo Cabriolet. In 2004, Porsche launched the 997 generation of
the 911 which was significant as it brought back the "bug eye"
round headlights which made the cars far more attractive . The
slightly widened body of the new 997 gave it a more aggressive
look. The rolling chassis and the water-cooled flat-six were being
utilised from the outgoing 996, improvements in handling balance
and grip were substantial. The Metzger 3.6L engine got many
improvements to increase output an additional 50hp. The traditional
styling makes the 997 generation feel like an homage to the
original 911s, while still making the car more futuristic and
equipping it with modern technology. This 997 Turbo Cabriolet is a
stunning well optioned example finished in black paint with black
leather interior and black cabriolet roof. Powered by the
turbocharged 3.6L flat six engine producing 480 hp/460lb-ft sending
the power to a 5-speed Tiptronic transmission. Well equipped with a
carbon interior package, silver-faced stopwatch, 16-way adaptive
sports seats, multifunction steering wheel, smooth leather,
Tiptronic buttons on steering wheel, sport chrono Plus, CD changer,
19' turbo wheels, retractable rear wing, and heated seats.Currently
this example has been well maintained, used sparingly on nice
summer days accumulating only 26,965 miles from new. Accompanying
the sale are owners manuals and two keys. The 997 has been deemed
by many Porsche enthusiasts as one of the best modern water cooled
generations of the 911. They are far smaller than more modern
generation 911s giving them a lightweight feel of the older air
cooled models with modern reliability. This 997.1 Turbo is a great
modern sports car that can be used on a daily basis! Additional
