Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is very excited to offer for your consideration an
absolutely stunning street rod in the form of a professionally
built 1935 Chevy 3 window coupe. The restoration process started in
2013 and was completed in 2014 when this ALL steel coupe was
treated to a show quality finish using 2008 Corvette Atomic Orange
paint. While we don't believe any car is perfect this one is as
close as we have seen, beautiful fit and finish! Powered by a
1960-348 ci engine with 3 Rochester 2-barrel carbs and 409 chrome
valve covers that were professionally rebuilt in Nov. 2013. The
rebuild included honing cylinders, hot tanked block after machine
work, a new oil pump and screen, freeze plug kit, flexplate, timing
chain, complete valve job, and much more. The transmission is a
Turbo 350 with a Lokar shifter. Another aspect of this build that
we really like is the fact that the frame is a Pete-N-Jakes
powder-coated boxed frame with coil suspension. Included with the
frame was a 9" rear end with axles, new 11" rear drum brakes, and a
rebuilt 3.00 gear. The steering is provided by a Heidts Mustang II
front end with Wilwood disc brakes. Not only does this Rod look
good rolling by but sounds awesome as well thanks to a custom-built
dual exhaust. Keeping all of this performance cool is not a problem
with a new Griffin Aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Speaking
of keeping cool, one of the first things you will notice when you
sit inside the beautiful custom interior is the Vintage air
controller that provides nice cold air conditioning when turned on.
Along with A/C other "Creature Features" include a Tilt steering
column, power windows, and door locks, a custom dash with 100%
operational gauges, a power-operated trunk lid, and a custom sound
system. If you are considering investing in a high-quality,
