1966 Amphicar 770 finished in white paint. Paint is in nice shape
and has a great shine to it front to back. This car was restored
over a 20 year time frame, and was finished up within the last
couple years. This positive ground radio and blower system BOTH
intact and in working order! Spare tire was a dealer-sold option
and this one has the spare. Being this is both for land and aquatic
travel, this car has to be registered as both. The 770 namesake
refers to the speed: 7 knots on water, and 70mph on land. Powered
by the Triumph 1200cc Inline 4 in the rear that is paired up with a
4-speed manual transmission. Storage compartment under the hood on
this one as the engine is in the rear. Red and white vinyl bench
seat interior with manual on the floor. There are additional door
locks located down low on both doors to keep it water tight! Gas
shut off located under the dash as well. Fuel gauge is in working
order. Dash has been left stock with fire extinguisher under there
since it is classified as a boat. There is a second lever on the
floor to engage the twin propellers under the car. Black vinyl
convertible top is manual with plastic rear window. Top is in nice
shape and fits well. Stock sounding Amphicar 770!
