Vehicle Description
This 1932 Ford Pickup has a sleek classic style with just the right
hints of flair and stance to clue you in on the full hot rod custom
build within. So you'll love the steel body, bold A/C interior, hot
rod suspension, five-speed upgrade, and proper V8 power that make
this one such an all-around awesome custom.
The gentleman who built this one had a history of creating
beautiful street machines. And while the build was likely completed
about a decade ago, it has only gone about 250 miles total. So the
largest wear you're likely going to find is from too much waxing or
showing off the motor. What that really means is that the
high-gloss black loves to let the sunlight show off all the creases
and curves that make the '32 Ford truck such an icon. And when this
is done in steel - including the fenders and bed - there's an added
quality you can feel. There are thoughtful custom touches to show
off important pieces, like how the grille is done in black so that
the headlight bar and bumper really pop even more up front. The
same kind of big contrast comes from using extra blond wood for the
truck bed. And those red wheels draw your eye with their boldness.
Not only do they show off the hot rod stance, but they are also a
nice preview of the interior.
The vividness of the full red interior is what you will find
immediately striking. But also make sure you take some time to
really look at the overall quality. It was thoughtfully done, right
down to details like the stitching in the door panels and a
courtesy light that greets you when the door opens. There are nice
amenities that they didn't even dream of in 1932, like an AM/FM
stereo with aux input and cold-blowing air conditioning. And this
classic is a better driver with the well-contoured seat, a
banjo-style steering wheel on a tilt column, and crisp Dolphin
readouts in the dash.
Under the hood, this one keeps a cool hot rod attitude going with
an upgrade to Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8. It has a clean style where
the engine block was done in black to match the firewall and
exterior paint. Even the valve covers and air grabber contribute to
this tidy and dark style. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel
carburetor and shorty header exhale into the dual exhaust and
Hushpower mufflers. It's a nice power package, and the upgrade to a
five-speed manual transmission gives you the right gearing to take
full advantage of it. No matter if you're out for a cruise or want
to open up the small block, you'll enjoy the work underneath this
Ford. You can spot in the undercarriage photos the reinforced boxed
steel frame, hot rod style for-link front end, and a triangulated
four-link rear with QA1 adjustable coilovers. And while this is a
low mileage build, it was built for you to comfortably add to the
odometer with easy driving features like power steering, power
brakes, front discs, and modern 15-inch tires.
This is the custom pickup that has all the right extras where you
know it was thoughtfully built for enjoyment. So if you're looking
