It's hard not to stare at the beautiful body lines of a C3 Corvette, especially when they're painted lipstick red. This car has been resprayed at some point in its life and still has plenty of shine to it despite the occasional small imperfection. The chrome 6-bolt luggage rack on the back adds a visual pop as well as some practicality on a long trip. The t-tops work well and provide some serious open-air fun to the driving experience. This Vette sits on Rally wheels with beauty rings and center caps wrapped in newer Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Turn off the aftermarket alarm system with the key fob, open the driver's door, and slide into the comfortable silver interior. The seats are in excellent condition, as are the carpet and dash. The courtesy lights all illuminate as they should when the door opens. Corvette racing flag floor mats are a nice touch and help keep the carpet in good condition. The steering wheel is OEM and features tilt and telescopic options. There is a JVC AM/FM/Cassette stereo with additional speakers in the rear compartment to provide a soundtrack for your cruise. Pull the light switch and the pop-up headlights work just as they should. The gauges all work properly, though not surprisingly the clock does not. Other interior amenities include power windows, 2-speed wipers, power steering, and heat defrost. The car has all of it's AC components but it only blows cool, not cold, and may require a recharge. Open the hood to find an L48 350 V8 engine with orange valve covers, a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, cast manifolds, and dual exhaust. The V8 is mated to a stock 3-speed automatic transmission. Power 4-wheel disc brakes provide stopping power. With just 81,666 actual miles on the clock, this car has a long life yet to live.
