Vehicle Description
Imagine the exhilarating feeling that comes from climbing behind
the wheel of one of the most powerful American production cars on
the road. This 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 can provide exactly
that. Having logged only 33,500 miles it's relatively low-travelled
for a sports car this fun to drive, and by every measure it's an
absolute scorcher - offering adrenaline-inducing acceleration and
handling that puts it in very select company. With a professionally
built and tuned 6.2L LT4 Supercharged V8 full of a host of
upgrades, the motor is capable of huge power and break-neck
responsiveness on the road and track alike, paring with the modern
marvel of a floppy-paddle 8-speed automatic transmission and a
beefed-up performance suspension. Clean as can be with enough power
for two sports cars, this Stingray represents one of the best
'bang-for-your-buck' vehicles, so read fast before anyone else gets
wise.
The notion that you're casting eyes on a very special car appears
right away, where even in the exalted company of modern Corvettes
this one stands out and makes everyone want to take a closer look
to fully appreciate it. Its Arctic White exterior is a treat to lay
eyes on, and it becomes even more sensory arousing when you see the
finish dance with our photobooth lights. Even seven years later the
design seems futuristic, with homage-setting Mako Shark concepts
found throughout, working hard to shed its former image as the 'old
man's toy'. The C7 worked to appeal to a younger crowd with
features like the carbon fiber hood (including the
Transformer's-style scoop), an aggressive chin spoiler and matching
ground effects, a removeable roof panel, dynamic fenders and
quarters made from composite materials, and the uber-aggressive
rear end with Z51 spoiler and quad exhaust pipes below. Everywhere
you look you can see this Stingray was sculpted inside a wind
tunnel, with all kinds of interesting angles, inductions, and
grooves that accentuate the insanely exciting lines of this
gorgeous beast. That distinctive white paint is still looking its
best and the black carbon fiber accents provide the perfect
contrast, punctuated by oversized chrome wheels. Its removeable top
is a nod to its third-generation predecessors, the first of the
model to emerge from the assembly line in this configuration,
instantly transforming the car into a completely different car.
It's a feature that's proven immensely popular over the years,
offering all the exhilaration of open-air motoring with the shelter
of the snug fitting top just a few steps away.
The black leather interior waiting inside is about as clean as they
come, and this Vette's light usage has definitely paid dividends.
It's an unusually comfortable and luxurious driving environment for
any car, let alone one that offers world class performance. The
steering column both tilts and telescopes while the ultra-clean and
distinctive power leather buckets glide smoothly into place to
provide just the right comfortable driving position, and there's a
surprising amount of shoulder room inside - far more than many of
the Vette's exotic competitors. The A/C is working at full force
and the featured navigation system will point you exactly to where
you're going - and no doubt you'll be able to get there at warp
speed. There'll certainly be no shortage of audio options, as the
multi-media stereo also features satellite and BT connectivity,
along with a back-up camera that runs through the same media
center. A host of digital gauges keeps an eye on the motor and all
its upgrades, and the center console houses the shifter for the
8-speed automatic transmission which can also be managed via
paddle-shifters behind the steering wheel. And as you might expect,
everything inside is incredibly clean and barely shows any use,
including the storage area under the lift-up hatch out back.
Chevy has gone to great lengths over the decades to arm its
Corvettes with world class powerplants, but the aftermarket
performance upgrades to this C7 are extensive, lifting the 6.2L LT4
Supercharged V8 motor to new heights. In fact, the list is long
enough that we don't have the space here to go through it in its
entirety, but give us a call if you want to be impressed. Internal
highlights include Yelvi CNC LT4 heads with stainless valves and
bronze guides, a dual valve kit with titanium retainers, LS7
lifters and LS2 lifter trays, and an E85 conversion kit that's been
all professionally tuned and calibrated to handle methanol
injection, but can still run on high octane gas. The supercharger
needs its own architect to fully understand, but it too has been
augmented with a Kong Performance CNC-ported blower and snout, Kong
Performance upper blower pulley, a custom 5" AMP intake with a 5"
black intake coupler, a 103mm throttle body, and a DMS catch-can,
just to name a few goodies. Kooks 2" headers feed into the stock
exhaust system with deleted cats, while the ignition, fuel, and
cooling systems were all upgraded as well. Equipped with
1600HP-rated DriveShip axles, an RPM Stage V differential filled
with 2.73 gears, gigantic 4-wheel disc brakes, and a pro-touring
ready, double-wishbone sports suspension complete with Magnetic
Ride Control and electronic stability control, this Corvette stops
on a dime and hits the corners better than any generation before
it. It's downright biblical, and only the mid-engine C8 can rival
it. Chrome wheels - 19" in front and 20" in back and wrapped in
sticky Michelin tires - finish this extraordinary car off in just
the right fashion, and if that's not aggressive enough this 'Vette
has also been fitted with an LG Motorsports billet drag conversion
kit that can fit CCW alloys wrapped in 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson
meats.
True super car performance is hard to come by and certainly far
harder without paying a king's ransom, and yet that's exactly what
this upgraded Chevrolet Corvette offers. Call today!
