Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1973 Volkswagen Super
Beetle Cabriolet. This Beetle is a decent driver that could easily
be taken to the next level with a modest fix-up budget. Presentable
paint and body in the original and attractive shade of Olympic
Blue. There are a few pinholes in the floors and a few spots with
surface rust here and there, but the body is largely solid.
Complete aside from missing right-side running board and right
headlight ring (fortunately, Beetle parts are inexpensive and
readily available). Interior is also largely intact, but could
benefit from new carpet / floor mats and one window crank handle is
missing.
Mechanically, this Beetle runs and drives well - the 1600 cc engine
starts easily and runs strong, and the 4-speed manual gearbox
shifts normally with no crunchy synchros. The clutch action and
shift linkage also feel like they should. Steering, suspension and
brakes are all within spec.
With minimal time and effort (stereo, carpet, running board,
headlight ring) this Beetle Cabriolet would make an easy and fun
car for its next owner. For more information about this 1973
Volkswagen Beetle convertible for sale at Motorcar Studio in
