He was a long time owner that purchased the car in 1995. He was very meticulous and took excellent care of the Corvette; during his ownership the car was always carefully stored indoors. He said that he purchased the car from a local Chevrolet dealership and the original owner traded it into that dealership on a new Corvette in 1995. Besides the correct paint code, this Corvette is 'Numbers Matching' meaning the engine and transmission in the car are the correct and original units that were installed in the car new at the factory in 1979.
