Vehicle Description
1993 Land Rover Defender 110
Why This Car Is Special
We have a restored 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 extended cab 4x4
diesel pickup.
Land Rovers are descended from the old slab-sided, utilitarian Land
Rovers of the distant past that were last sold in the U.S. in 1974.
The Defender 110 appeared as a limited edition for 1993 as a 4-door
wagon that was designed primarily for off-road use and only 500
were built for 1993, the model's sole season on the market.
Ours is a custom build and powered by a 2.5L Inline-4 Diesel engine
and a 5-speed manual transmission with A/C, power steering and
brakes.

Mechanics
Under the hood is a 2.5-liter fuel injected diesel engine that is
known for its engine strengths and durability that is mated to a
five-speed manual transmission to give you full control over the
diesels entire rpm range and utilizing all the power.
It is lifted high from the factory to give great ground clearance
and the power is transferred via a two-speed 4x4 transfer case back
to the massive Road Venture all terrain black sidewall tires
mounted on the five-spoke factory alloy wheels.
It also has power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes, air
conditioning, and a tall outside snorkel remote air filter to keep
water out of the engine if you get really deep in a creek.
With a 110-inch wheelbase, the Defender 110 was 10 inches longer
between the axles than a standard Range Rover, and 2 inches more
than the new long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover.
Interior
The interior of our Rover has all the factory amenities plus a lot
of custom additions added to it when it was restored in 2019 that
includes upgraded custom 2-tone reclining high-back leather bucket
seats in tan/black with rear seats and side door panels that match
too, the custom extended cab that not only allows you the extra
passengers but the added storage area in back, cold air
conditioning, black steering wheel, factory dash with all the
gauges and switches, manual floor shifter, and black carpet.
Exterior
As mentioned earlier, it has the extended cab with the rear bed
that makes it so easy to haul more cargo.
It is painted in a dark grey metallic over the body panels that
were made of aluminum that looks sinister in appearance but very
functional too. It has fender flares, side steps, top cage
w/ladder, full brush guard with a winch, LED headlights, rear step
bumper, rear defroster, tinted glass, roof rack, running boards,
ride-leveling suspension, and a light bar.
