Vehicle Description
Here's a truck for those who like to really enjoy their classics.
After all, this 1970 Chevrolet C10 has a terrifically enhanced
small block, nice options, vintage style, and the right useful long
bed attitude. It's the kind of total package that's fun for work
and play.
The earthy green always has a proper 1970s vibe. But as you get
closer, you see that it's a more modern metallic application. The
full paint package has a radiant style that also has the right
touches of age and use. It makes for the kind of truck that looks
cool at a show but also swings by Lowes on the way home. It's that
kind of stylish and useful duality you see throughout this truck.
For example, the front end is made to look cleaner and brighter,
and that also means better vision with crystal clear headlights and
fog lights in the bumpers. You have an aerodynamic tonneau over the
truck bed done in black to match the side trim. Beneath is a
work-ready bed with good lumber and liner paint on the tailgate.
The dual exhaust tips are big and bright. They exit on the side
making it more convenient to utilize the trailer hitch and six-pin
connector. And those US Mags wheels have a classic style but a
larger size to fit better modern tires.
The interior is full of the right vintage details. It includes the
classic western-style pattern in the clean bench seat, and the door
panels were done to match. But this also has the right upgrades
like a sliding rear window, tinted glass, and provisions for R134a
air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) The
steering wheel is an upgraded smaller diameter sports unit, and
it's mounted on a column with upgrades like cruise control and a
Bosch tach.
The engine bay looks great with smooth inner walls, a tidy setup,
and a nice polish on the valve covers and air grabber. But what
you're going to like the best is the substance behind the style.
It's a 400 cubic-inch V8, which means you get a big block
displacement in a small block weight. And this has been built with
the best pieces, like aluminum heads, a Quick Fuel four-barrel
carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual
exhaust. You even get an aluminum radiator to help keep it all
running cool. The motor connects to a three-speed automatic
transmission on its way to the 12-bolt rear end. There's also power
steering, power brakes, and modern tires to give this a solid
driving attitude.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, original warranty
card, and maintenance records. Distinct, useful, and powerful -
this is the truck that will do it all...including leave our
