For Sale: 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass in Kentwood, Michigan

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this low mile, highly original fully documented, 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Convertible. This car was purchased new from McCaddon Oldsmobile-Cadillac, inc. of Boulder, CO. It remained in the caring hands of the original purchasing owner and in the Boulder area until 1990 to where it was sold to a party in Newbury Park, CA. In 1996, the car changed hands to a collector in Lansing, MI who held it until 2005. It was then sold locally to an enthusiast in E. Lansing, MI to where it was sold in 2020 to North Carolina and then recent acquired by us at the GR Auto Gallery.
This Cutlass convertible was purchased new of July 5, 1968 and came dressed in Willow Gold exterior paint over black interior with black convertible top. The car is powered by its L74 high compression 350 CID engine, M31 Jetaway automatic transmission and the G80 anti spin rear axle. Factory options include: Power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, console, soft ray tinted windshield, air conditioning, remote mirrors, chrome door edge guard mouldings, chrome wheel opening mouldings, deluxe push button radio etc.
Today, at just 68747 miles, the car remains in excellent, highly original condition. The car has been painted once professionally in its original factory color. The interior shows very clean and tidy in all areas, under the hood is unmolested and completely stock, the underside and frame are clean and dry etc.
Mechanically, this Oldsmobile Cutlass S is a pleasure to drive. It is smooth and tight and offers up an excellent open air touring experience. Recent services include: new shocks, new starter, power steering pump and reservoir, steering gear, new speedo cable seal at transmission, new belts, hood insulation, inner and outer wheel bearings right and left, new master and metering block, front and rear brakes, sway bar links, upper ball joints, cap rotor and wires, plugs, carb rebuild, etc.
