Up for sale is a 1984 Chevy Corvette. This car is a nice driver. Equipped with a 350 v8 and automatic transmission. Car starts up without issue and drives smooth down the road at 60. No shakes or vibration even when we kicked it up to 75. The previous owner told me the transmission was rebuilt last year by our local shop. He couldn't find the paperwork. could try and contact that shop if the buyer wants some paper trail of the transmission. All the controls in the car work including the flip headlights. The tires we bought new about 3 years ago and haven't hit 100 miles yet. This car has been garage kept its life. Paint is so-so. Is a nice driver but could use a paint job if you want something fancier. No leaks in the top. The seals are a little weathered, but not as bad as some I've seen. Payments: Payments can be made at any time. We accept cash, personal checks, PayPal and credit cards. A 4% fee will apply to all PayPal and credit card transactions. Vehicle will no be released until full payment has been made.
Deposits: A $500 deposit will hold a vehicle. Remaining balance must be paid within 30 days after deposit is made. If balance is not paid within 30 days, deposit will be lost and we will resell the vehicle.
Titles: We can apply for and receive a title on most of our vehicles (vehicles without titles) for an additional $250. This fee covers the application, (sometimes) bonding and my time and effort. Vehicles that are eligible to be titled must have all exterior major body panels. Meaning the vehicle can’t be missing fenders, hood, doors etc.. The vehicle must also display a clear and easy to read VIN tag. Titles take about a month to come back from the state clean and 100% transferrable.
Vehicle Storage: Vehicles are allowed to be stored here for 3 months after final payment is made unless prior arrangements are made. After 3 months they will be considered abandoned and will be the property of Backyard Classics. Therefore, all money paid will be lost due to storage.
Transport: Backyard Classics does not transport vehicles for customers. We will assist in locating transport for the customer. We use Montway Auto Transport for quotes. Do your homework (if possible) and shop for rates.
