1964 Pontiac GTO BOBCAT Tribute car. ---This car is equipped with a 421 cubic inch 425 horsepower with tri-power carburetors (three two-barrel ROCHESTER 2G carburetors), and heavy-duty cooling. It has a 3 speed Turbo 400 slap shift transmission with a 12-bolt rear end. The car is in perfect condition and is the best and fastest 1964 GTO I have ever drove and I have owned three1964 GTOs. It has up-graded suspension, no rattles, smooth steering and riding, perfect interior and carpet. It does not have the original radio but has a cassette player\radio with an up-graded automatic antenna. It is equipped with Red Line tires with American mags and the original hub caps are in the trunk. There are many other up-grades, too numerous to mention. Excellent paint.. .This is a lot of car for less money. Wikipedia says that the 1964 GTO option Vin number begins with 82 as you can see that is the case with this GTO. I have a clear Texas title.
What is a Royal Bobcat?
Throughout the 1960s, Ace Wilson's Pontiac, a Pontiac dealer in Royal Oak, Michigan, offered a special tune-up package for Pontiac GTOs which included replacing the 389 engine with a 421 cubic inch engine and many other internal components to make the horsepower increase . The components and instruction could be purchased by dealers to make the changes. Someone spent a lot of money on this car to make it a Bobcat or it is a Royal Bobcat made in Royal Oaks Michigan. I have not tried to prove it one way or the other thus the reason to call it is a tribute car.. I fell in love with the car when I first drove it 13 years ago. I am getting older and it is the time to let someone else enjoy the car. This car was appraised at when I Ibought it in mid-range of $56400 or in the high range of $87100 or if it was a junker $22700. I will assure you it is not a junker. I am offering to sell it at $30000.00 I left a little meat a little on the bone for someone to make a lot more money on the car before I put it up for auction,. .
Come and test drive the car and you will love the car. Contact: Nelson Campbell Phone: 254-693-5907 Garaged in Gordon, Texas 76453 (leave message)
