1968 Ford Mustang Fastback 390/ C6/ 9" rear - originally Dark Highland green with black interior!!!
Very rare and original X-code 390 with C6 transmission and 9" rear end. Southern car with 3 owners in the USA. Two owners in Norway. Relatively untouched car, but repainted in the mid -80`s from Highland green to Raven black. Paint is still presentabel, but would be nice to get it done in the original green color.
Interior is all original. Nothing replaced, and still looks good.
The car was ordered with the 390 Sprint package that included a chrome engine dress-up kit, and wrap around shock towers like the 428 cj cars. Also has the 9" rear end and big sway bar. Very rare to find one with the original drivetrain still in it. It is very possible that the car has done only 48.000 miles!
In 1969 the dealership Peoples Motor Company Inc. added a factory aluminium intake with a 735 4 barrel Holley carburetor. In 2007 a set of 16 inch mags where added. In 2012 the car was converted with power steering and powerbrakes with disks in the front. All else is original!
Still drives strong!
