1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz
Car History
The Cadillac Eldorado was a luxury car manufactured and marketed by
Cadillac from 1952 until 2002 over twelve generations.
The Eldorado was always at or near the top of the Cadillac line and
the Biarritz, like the 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz we have here
at Adventure Classics, was about as high as you could go!
Ours is a great color combination of white exterior and beautiful
deep marron/red interior with the maroon/red vinyl top.
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood of our 1984 is the base engine in the Eldorado the
135 horsepower 4.1 liter V8 engine which was good enough to haul
the car's 3,748 pounds. It was well equipped with air conditioning,
power steering, front-wheel-drive, a four-wheel independent
suspension, and four-wheel power disk brakes.
Ours is sitting in an engine compartment that looks factory with
all the correct stock engine components like the black factory air
cleaner assembly that has the "Digital Fuel Injection V8" decal
still on it, valve covers, and all hoses and wires like it came
with.
The '84 Eldorado Biarritz sold new for $23,737 before options,
which would be over $67695.00 in 2022 dollars.
Interior
Inside is where you see first-hand all the luxury of the Biarritz
when you first look at the fine "button tufted" leather upholstery
in this case, the maroon/red interior goes well with the White
exterior paint. The rear seat matches as well as the door
panels.
It has a magnificent and well equipped dash including wood grain
enclosed factory instruments, electronic climate control, power
door locks, and power windows, tilt wheel, maroon carpet and floor
mats, the memory seat, and the all-conquering Delco-GM/Bose
Symphony Sound System with four speakers and a power antenna.
Exterior
Our Caddy is painted in a deep white exterior paint that shows well
over the elegant body lines with its chrome trim, and chrome front
and rear bumpers.
Our 1984 had the $3,395 Biarritz option package that gives it the
maroon/red vinyl landau top for the rear part of the roof and a
brushed stainless steel section on the front.
It also has Soft Ray tinted glass and rides on factory steel wheels
with wire wheel hubcaps and thin whitewall tires.
Conclusion
We have here at Adventure Classics is a rich looking and
well-preserved example of a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz that
will serve you well as a cruiser or a road car.
It glides down the road in luxury and looks as good as it did back
in 1984 too.
