Vehicle Description
1934 Chevrolet Custom Sedan
In the Street Rod world you see a lot of old Fords but not so
common is Street Rodded 30's Chevys. Well one look at this car and
you will be asking yourself...why not?! This 1934 Chevrolet Sedan
is an extremely high end build which was completed with no corners
cut throughout. It comes with a full build book outlining every
single part ordered for the car. It is immaculate and was owned by
a good friend who built the car for himself and was very detail
oriented on his cars. It is truly a one of a kind piece of
automotive art. It all started with a Chevrolet Sedan Delivery body
with glass package as well as a rolling chassis from Outlaw
Performance in Pennsylvania and from there was piece by piece
transformed into the masterpiece it is today. You can't miss it
rolling down the road wearing its vibrant shining Sun Fusion Yellow
paint. It comes with a leather front end bra to keep it protected
when driven which is a testament to the care the car received. It
has the looks of a trailer queen but was built to be enjoyed. The
paint has a gorgeous finish and still looks like it was just
sprayed yesterday. It has very subtle pinstriping accenting all the
body lines which was laid down by Brad Meredith. It is done in a
slight brighter yellow and almost is invisible until you are close
up on the car. On the rear a custom beautifully painted small dream
catcher was painted which was the owners way to honor a close
friend that is an Apache Indian and is something we will also
revisit later in our description. It is very nicely done and
contains a hidden "34". The car has been kept free from all
exterior trim and handles to give it a very slick look. The
taillights are painted but headlights have been kept chrome. The
grill shell is all nicely painted and fitted with a stainless steel
grill. The beautiful set of 10 spoke wheels look perfect on the car
and are wrapped with low profile Firestone tires.
Under the Rootlieb hood is a very nicely dressed up small block
fuel injected 350 ram jet motor. There is chrome and polished
components everywhere you look and the motor runs great. It is
paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission sending power back to
the 3:40 rear end. It is a great cruiser and was set up to be a
comfortable driver as well as show car. It has a great sound
through the custom dual exhaust. The undercarriage is very cleanly
done with features like the rear end being painted in a gloss
Black. It has an adjustable coil over suspension system and a
Mustang II IFS and glides down the road smoothly. Wilwood disc
brakes were installed up front and with drums in rear and they are
power. It also has an electronic emergency brake.
The interior of the car is very nicely finished out in a Brown
leather and is in excellent condition. Up above the custom
headliner features a Zia sun symbol which is another tribute to the
owners friend. It represents the four cardinal directions, the four
seasons of the year, the four periods of each day (morning, noon,
evening, and night) as well as the four seasons of life (childhood,
youth, middle age, and old age). It is a very eye catching feature.
The interior of this car has been so well done with custom aluminum
paneling throughout covered in that rich leather. Even the dash is
covered with leather and topped off with Dakota Digital gauges and
custom AC vents. In front of the driver sits a custom polished tilt
steering column with billet leather wrapped steering wheel. The
custom made center console provides cup holders as well as housing
for the Lokar shifter. Being a sedan delivery it has a rear bench
seat which is great for bringing the family along with you to the
show. The rear door was modified to swing open to the side and in
the trunk there is a custom shelf for additional storage and to
hide away the AM/FM/CD/Sirius stereo.
This car was so well built and thought out. It even has a custom
anti theft system that we won't describe so only the previous and
new owner will know how to start it. There are so many things
packed into this build and the book full of receipts will be
available should someone want to check it out.
