71 Boat Tail Riviera in absolutely beautiful condition. PRICE REDUCED. Professionally done Body on frame restoration 4 years ago and still showing great! Car was fully disassembled and all old paint and filler removed then metal worked to remove all rust and dents. A very high quality basecoat clearcoat finish was applied then denibbed and polished. All the chrome was repaired and replated to show car standards and all the stainless trim was repaired and polished. Bumpers, tail light housings, headlight doors, side marker housings all replated. The worn out door handles were disassembled to allow an oversized pin to be manufactured and installed at machine shop, then these were replated and reassembled. The machine shop also manufactured new oversize pins for the hood hinges, allowing the hood to align perfectly upon closing. The interior has been restored, featured with custom hand made leather seat covers replicating OEM, new carpet and weatherstrips. Door hinges have been repaired. Car has new shaded tinted windshield and all other glass is in very good condition. Engine runs perfectly featuring top end overhaul with mild camshaft upgrade, sounds cool and still makes good low end torque. The fit and finish overall is exceptionally good and car is nicely detailed. This car is likely the best available Boat Tail Riviera available .The mature owner is down sizing his collection and is open to considering a serious offer, he has no intention of giving it away! Recently installed coated shorty headers and stainless exhaust.These cars are very expensive to restore as there very few new parts available.
