This classic, 3-owner Cadillac Calais has been a garage-kept
resident of North Carolina since new. Purchased from Arnold Palmer
Cadillac, the original owner is said to have waxed off some of the
factory finish. The hardtop was professionally resprayed in the
original color by the second owner in 1981. Other than that
refresh, the Cadillac is original and has been in the current
owner's collection for 14 years. A binder of the original
documentation is included with the car. The Bombay Yellow finish
w/subtle pin stripping is in very good condition as is the
complimentary white Landau vinyl top. Factory rear fender skirts
are a great accent. Inside, the original Brocade pattern interior
has been well cared for and comfort features include air
conditioning, power-seats, power tinted windows and AM/FM stereo
w/power antenna. Horsepower is provided by a 500ci V8 that outputs
190 bhp and 360 lb/ft of torque and is backed by a 3-speed Turbo
Hydra-Matic transmission. The Calais' chassis is equipped with coil
springs at all four corners, power steering and power front
disc/rear drum brakes. Factory wire wheel covers are fitted to 15"
steel wheels that mount 'GT Champiro 75' radial whitewall tires.
There are very few of these classic Calais around today - fewer
still in this original conditional. This beautiful, rare Cadillac
will look stately in your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
