The sixth generation of the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup
trucks and medium-duty commercial trucks that were produced by Ford
from 1972 to 1979.
In 1976, the F-Series became the best-selling trucks in America, a
position it has continued to hold ever since.
We have a beautiful two-tone 1976 Ford F150 Ranger XLT here at
Skyway Classics with only 21650 miles on it that is mostly original
in the factory correct paint scheme and interior and powered by the
big 390 cubic inch V8 engine with cold blowing air.

Our 1976 has a matching green all vinyl bench seat interior with
wood grain/black/green dash housing all the factory stock gauges,
matching door panels, green carpet, green seat belts, and all the
trim looks factory also.
It also has a perfect aftermarket stereo radio system with
speakers, wood enhanced factory steering wheel, column mounted
shifter, Ford black floor mats, air conditioning, and great
headliner.
Exterior
This truck has what may be the factory original paint in two-tone
Green with chrome bumpers front and back, bumper guards in front
tow hitch in the back, driving lights mounted on the front bumper,
long bed in the back, large chrome towing side mirrors, and rides
on blackwall tires mounted on chrome factory smoothie type wheels
for that right period look.
Mechanical
The engine is a strong running 390 cubic inch V8 instead of the
smaller engines usually found in these series trucks. This 390 Ford
engine was a great engine for these trucks as it had good
horsepower and torque all thru the rpm ranges. Ours looks much as
it did when it left the showroom with the bright blue factory air
cleaner on it showing the 390 4-V decal, blue valve covers, intake,
and distributor cap, PS, PB, air conditioning, and sitting in an
original looking engine compartment with all the factory correct
parts too.

Conclusion
This 1976 Ford F150 Ranger XLT we have at Skyway Classics is a
literal time capsule of a truck that we are told was a farm truck
used in Virginia that may have never left the farm, with only 21650
miles on it so we believe it.
You literally would have to go back to 1976 to find a truck that
looks as original as this one.
Come see it today.
