Out back the rear suspension features Bimmerworld race rear lower control arms, Powerflex black differential bushings and Bimmerworld rear trailing arm bearings. Ohlins Road and Track Dedicated struts and shock system along with Vorshlag camber plates tighten road feel and control and Bimmerworld aluminum subframe mounts further tighten the body and any flex. This combination meets the road rolling on Apex ARC-8 18x9.5 ET35 Anthracite Concave wheels with 265/35-18 RE71 tires utilizing Bimmerworld 5mm and 12mm spacers and mounted with Bimmerworld 82mm race premium wheel studs. Under the hood sits a high revving 3.2-liter S54 inline-six. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Improvements within the last 100 miles include a BMC performance air filter and the VANOS system has been rebuildt using Beisan and Dr. VANOS parts. The cooling system has been treated to new silicone coolant hose kit, water pump and the stock radiator has been replaced with a Bimmerworld/CSF high efficiency radiator and oil cooler and a Moroso aluminum coolant expansion tank. The engine rod bearings were also replaced within the last 100 miles ago. Engine mounts were replaced with Bimmerworld performance engine mounts and Rogue Engineering transmission mounts were also installed.
