1966 Plymouth Valiant Station Wagon
VIN: VH45062582924
Plymouth's entry in the burgeoning compact car market was introduced in the 1960 model year with the Valiant. The goal was to create a car that was smaller and lighter than a full-size car without sacrificing passenger and luggage space. The Valiant was a success in the market due to bold design and the new slant six engine helped in styling with a lower hood line. The slant-six produced both more power and better economy than similar American made economy straight sixes, and it soon gained a reputation for dependability.
The Plymouth Valiant Station Wagon presented at auction is a striking, largely original example.
Take a good old fashioned road trip with the whole family, dogs, in-laws and all their luggage!
