In 1975, the automotive industry went through major changes due to
the use of lead fuel that caused serious health issues.
Environmental laws changed and government decided that lead fuel
would be phased out. Along with those changes, the director of
high-performance Zora Arkus-Duntov retired. Under his leadership,
Chevrolet quickly became one of the most successful manufacturers
ever in the history of motor racing. Also introduced in 1975, was
the catalytic converter, and so Corvette built the first model not
to feature dual exhaust.This is a great custom 75 Vette that has
undergone just a few modifications. The exterior is the factory
color Dark Red and the paint is fresh and professional with no
visible flaws. It features a rear spoiler which, while not factory,
it does add a sleek and cool look.The black bucket seat console
interior presents in excellent condition with no rips or tears.
Dash is in terrific condition and features wood grain inserts on
the instrument gauge panel that features Classic Instruments. Door
panels have the wood grain inserts and in excellent condition as
well.Engine is the 350 CID with a cam and paired with a 700 R
automatic transmission. Added were the Be Cool aluminum radiator
(with 2 fans) and March serpentine system.Options include power
windows, power antenna, power steering, power brakes, and a Vintage
Car AM/FM Corvette radio.This Corvette coupe runs and drives with
