Description:
This 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 is powered by a 5.7-liter LT5
DOHC V8 paired with a ZF six-speed manual transmission and is
finished in Bright Red over black leather. Equipment includes the
Selective Ride and Handling Package, a removable transparent roof
panel, 17? aluminum wheels, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable
sport seats, air conditioning, and a Delco-Bose Gold Series sound
system with a CD player. Service in March 2021 included rebuilding
the fuel pump and replacing the fuel injectors, tires, and brake
components, and the car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022.
This C4 ZR-1 shows 40k miles and is now offered with service
records from 2021, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado
title.
Interior:
The cabin features two power-adjustable sport bucket seats
upholstered in black leather. Amenities include cruise control,
automatic climate control, an onboard computer, a tire pressure
warning system, a Delco-Bose Gold Series sound system with CD and
cassette players, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. The
right-rear speaker assembly was replaced and the turn-signal
canceling camshaft, the horn mechanism, and the tilt steering
column pivots were serviced in March 2021. Photos show wear on the
outer bolster of the driver's seat.
Exterior:
The C4 ZR-1 was sold between 1990 and 1995, and it featured a wider
tail compared to the standard C4 Corvette and introduced a convex
rear fascia with squared-off taillights. This example is finished
in Bright Red and features a removable transparent roof panel,
pop-up headlights, fog lamps, fender aero-vents, and
power-adjustable and heated side mirrors. The selling dealer states
that the hood has been refinished, the right headlight is slow to
operate, and the windshield is hazy when viewed from the exterior
of the car.
Drivetrain:
The all-aluminum 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 was co-designed by GM and
Lotus and built by Mercury Marine. Output was rated at 375
horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in March 2021
included rebuilding the fuel pump, replacing the fuel injectors,
flushing the coolant, and changing the oil. Power is sent to the
rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission. The clutch
and transmission fluids were changed in March 2021.
