Wow, loaded with upgrades! That's one of the longest list of
features I've ever written on a Mustang. Totally restored from the
ground up.
EXTERIOR: The body's been completely restored, it is all metal with
no rust or damage. The paint is a very smooth, high gloss red
finish. It's like looking into a red mirror, even along the bottom.
The jambs are glossy. All new trim, emblems, stainless and chrome.
Even the vent window frames are new. All new glass with a light
tint. New weatherstrips and gaskets. 15 inch Torque Thrust wheels
ride on custom made BFG radial redline tires.
INTERIOR: The white Interior is beautiful against the red exterior
and it is restored from carpet to headliner like new. It has plenty
of really nice upgrades and very popular pony seats. I sat in the
car and right away could tell there's new cushions in the seats, it
feels nice and firm. I'm looking at a beautiful Shelby style wood
rim steering wheel with the aluminum spokes. It's on a custom tilt
column. It has a really cool set of electronic gauges including a
tachometer. The warning light monitors are incorporated into the
speedo gauge as well. It features a retro stereo and 6x9 speakers
back. All the pony upholstery, side panels, armrests, window cranks,
door handles are new. The entire dash area is restored. Has new
dash pad, chrome bezels and knobs. The carpet is new. It has the
deluxe console with compartment and there's a Hurst 4-speed
sticking out of it. The white headliner and visors are new. New
seat belts front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: A beautiful engine compartment with a lot of
upgrades and really nice features. The motor shop that built the
289 says it's over 400 horsepower. It has a new aluminum intake and
fuel injection system with fuel regulator and gauge. A set of
headers let the burnt fuel out. All new MSD ignition system. New
heat and air conditioning system with a polished compressor. New
power brake system with a cadmium plated booster and a dual
reservoir master. New upgraded power steering system. The
alternator is new. It's dressed up real nice with a set of Ford
Motorsport aluminum valve covers and aluminum support bars. The
inner fenders are completely restructured and made smooth. No more
shock towers with the new suspension. The engine bay has been
neatly painted in a grey textured finish. Everything looks new- all
the hoses, the washer bag is hooked up to the squirters. New fan
and shroud, new battery and cables. Bottom of the hood and the
jambs are gloss red. It has new hardware.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid trunk, it has a gray finish. Matching
plaid mat, tire cover and bag for the jack. New spare tire hold
down. It does not have the spare or the jack. Bottom of the trunk
lid and the jamb are painted real nice. New weatherstrip, latch,
bolts on the hinges and seat divider.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront it has a completely modernized steering and
suspension. Mustang ll front end has tubular upper and lower
control arms with coil over shocks polyurethane bushings and sway
bar. In back the springs, shocks and hardware are new. Looking up
at the motor it is still fresh, has a mini high torque starter. The
aluminum bellhousing is clean, the 4-speed transmission and linkage
looks fresh. New drive shaft and u-joints. A heavy duty Ford 9-inch
rear end with new 3.50 posi gears were installed. It has a really
nice stainless steel custom exhaust with x-pipe and welded
Magnaflow mufflers. The brake system is all new and updated, disc
at all four corners. Stainless steel braided hoses in front,
e-brake assembly is all new. New fuel system including the tank,
sending unit, custom fuel pump for the fuel injection system.
Bottom of this car is all clean metal, the floors frame rails are
all solid.
This Mustang has had a complete rebuild from the ground up. It has
ALL the great upgrades people want. There's a lot more then meets
eye with this one. Although what does meet the eye is pretty dam
good too!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant

professional impression of the vehicle.
