Vehicle Description
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is an interesting classic that was made
to cruise. It has nice factory features like strong V8 power, a
power driver's seat, and the iconic hardtop. This is combined with
modern upgrades that make it better for enjoying the drive -
including a radio that you can plug in your iPhone. It's all part
of the larger idea of how great it is to have a road-ready
icon.
The 1957 car liked to be a bit sportier than the two previous
years. You see it on the exterior with the cleaner front and rear
design. Even the bumper's integrated exhaust tips were wider and
more aggressive than the previous years. And so having this one in
Torch Red seems like the right attitude. It's the kind of finish we
like on a driver-ready car, but the price on this one can also
leave room in your budget if you're looking to professionally
unlock even more luster. Plus, these touches of speedier style
never took away from the overall elegance. The extra-long tailfins,
fender skirts, whitewalls, and intricate taillights are all part of
what made this so attractive even when just in the parking lot. And
not only do you have a white folding roof, but the white porthole
hardtop gives you one of the most distinctive looks ever to hit the
American highway.
A red interior is always attractive in a red car, and this one is
quite complete. You may choose to upgrade details like the folding
convertible top or carpeting, but those are part of the well-backed
Thunderbird aftermarket that lets you individualize your
easy-driving drop-top. In fact, this one seems to really want to
inspire drivers. The idea of the extra sporty '57 attitude is seen
again inside because this was the only one of the first gen to have
the recessed gauge panel that offered a race-inspired readout
design. These T-birds were great individual cruisers but not all of
them were created equal. This has some nice added luxuries like the
power seat and power windows. Plus, they made this one to be an
even more individual experience with upgrades like a tilt steering
column and armrest center console with cup holders. And we love the
retro-style radio. It fits in with the classic dash when not in
use, but the digital tuner means a much better AM/FM stereo. There
are even inputs for you to connect and power your cell phone.
The engine bay continues this car's vintage style with the right
driver-ready upgrades added in. You have the classic 312 cubic-inch
V8, and it has nice dress-up items like the Thunderbird valve
covers and pie dis air grabber. And it also doesn't take much to
see this has good additions. There's an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, a newer alternator, and the Champion four-core aluminum
radiator helps keep this cruiser running cool. It's a
strong-running powerhouse, and features like an automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes, and upgraded front
discs make it easy to hit the road at any time.
There are interesting details all around this car. It's even on an
actual miles title (although it's unclear if it reflects the full
truth.) It all makes for an iconic classic with an even cooler
cruiser image. Call today!!!
