Here we have a 1971 Opel GT for sale. This classic is mostly
original and in excellent condition for its age with right at 44k
miles on it. It is covered in a slick, clean, red paint with chrome
front and rear bumpers. It also has a black rear window louver. One
of the neat features of this car is the 'Bug Eye' headlights. There
is a small lever inside the car to manually rotate the headlights
up. To finish off the exterior it is sitting on the original
13-inch wheels that are wrapped in 185/70 tires.
On the inside it is done in a black color scheme with vinyl
interior. The interior in this car is in excellent condition with
no cracks, rips, or tears. The carpet and headliner are also in
great condition and make a good fit. It has standard seats,
mirrors, windows, and doors. Looking at the dash you will notice
that all the gauges are working as they should and that it features
an AM/FM CD player. The interior is also mostly original, and it is
in great condition.
Under the hood it is powered by the original 1.9L 4MT engine, which
is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. On the highway this car
runs and rides great. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the
brakes feel to have plenty of life left in them. This car would
make an excellent addition to your classic collection.
