Vehicle Description
1998 Jeep Wrangler sport! This wrangler has a great look and is
very clean for the year. It rides and drives really well. This jeep
has the hard top and it fits like it should. I was very impressed
by the interior. It has one of the cleaner interiors I have come
across. Very healthy feel to it. The 4.0 lt inline 6 cyl runs great
and the automatic trans shifts all gears like it should. The tires
are very good with good tred. The jeep has AC, but I would say it
needs a charge of freon as its not blowing as cold as it should.
The radio plays great and this wrangler has the overhead sound bar.
I drove it around 4 hours on a trip and It drove down the road
good. I noticed that when I hit the brakes it pulled slightly to
the left, noting crazy etc but it was there. The 4x4 engages
easily. The frame looks good and solid. I saw it was repaired with
steel at one time in spots but looks to be done right etc. The body
looks pretty clean for the year of the jeep. I saw some minor
bubbling here and there around the body but nothing to crazy. I saw
a rust spot on the inside edge under the hood on the passenger
side. The driver side fender top looks good. I pictured and videoed
it well so you can see the cosmetics. I saw a ABS light come on
then go away as you drive it, proablly a sensor etc. This jeep has
a clean title. The miles are 166k which means it was driven on
average around 7000 miles per a year (far less than the national
carfax average of 15k) Overall I was very impressed by this jeep
being 24 years old, Should make someone a very nice Wrangler.
