Car History
In 1958 Chevrolet built cars for enthusiasts that demanded
uncompromising speed and performance and the 1958 Chevrolet
Corvette offered a near race-ready Corvette they made available at
local dealerships across the country, and at prices that made
buying even the highest end Corvette affordable.
We have a complete Resto-Mod 1958 Chevrolet Corvette here at
Adventure Classics that started as original but has been taken to
the highest possible level with a no-expense restoration on this
one-off build with hundreds of man hours dedicated to this Corvette
and complete refabrication into supercar it is today.
Engine & Drivetrain
The 1958 Corvette original car was fitted with a complete custom
chassis built by Billy Sawson using all brand new C-4 suspension
with the powerplant upgraded to a brand new GM LS-3 with 480
horsepower and backed by a bramd new 4L70e transmission shifted by
a Lokar shifter. All additional remaining components are brand new.
No expense spared!
The brand new engine has red Corvette LS3 painted fuel rails,
chrome and polished power steering and brake units, Vintage Air,
Eddie Motorsport serpentine belt system, electric e-brake,
injection, dual exhausts, DeWitt aluminum radiator with electric
fans, and more. Again all is brand new!
It is further enhanced with disc brakes that have drilled and
slotted rotors, a suspension you could eat off of, power rack and
pinion steering, Speartech computer harness, and rides on Corvette
chrome 18x8.5 wheels with red line tires and 4 wheel disc
brakes.
Interior
A brand new flawless complete, custom Carmine red leather interior
starts with the custom red Paul Atkins bucket seats, red leather
upholstery on the door panels and dash, red leather steering wheel,
Dakota digital gauges, Power windows, Power hood opener, custom red
center console, red leather boot on the shifter, and that famous
waterfall in gleaming chrome between the seats.
The riding experience duplicates extreme comfort while enjoying the
sound system in an amazing Classic with such unique upgrades.
Exterior
It has a new stunning color combo of Cyber and light grey metallic
paint that shines and looks great from all angles. Fit and finish
are excellent throughout, as is expected on this extreme custom
level of a Corvette,
