The Corvette C4 is one of the best Corvette values on the market
today - a factory race car with competition quality suspension
components including forged aluminum front/rear control arms,
tubular aluminum drive shafts and transverse monolith springs. That
said, they are also a comfortable ride. This '96 'Collector
Edition' coupe was the last model year for the C4 series. The owner
states that the mileage shown (just under 35,000) is believed to be
actual. The rare Sebring Silver Metallic finish, also believed to
be original, is in outstanding condition. The 'Collector Edition'
package adds CE badges, embroidered leather seats and distinctive
17" 5-spoke alloys. These ZR-1 style wheels mount Nitto performance
radials that are in nearly new condition. A factory gray leather
interior has been well maintained and in very good condition, as is
the removable factory targa top. The Corvette C4 delivers all
convenience features as standard equipment including climate
controlled air conditioning, 6-way power seats, power locks, power
tinted windows, tilt wheel and cruise control. This car is also
equipped with 'Collector Edition' embossed seatbacks and a premium
Bose AM/FM/CD/Cassette stereo system. The coupe is powered by the
venerable Gen II 5.7 Liter LT-1 motor (P-code) that was introduced
in 1992. It produces 300 BHP @5000 RPM with 340 lb/ft of torque.
The engine has factory aluminum heads and utilizes a Sequential
Injection Fuel system. Power is delivered through a 4-speed
automatic/OD transmission. The Corvette is equipped with variable
assist power steering and ABS power disc brakes w/4-piston
calipers. This very appealing C4 Corvette Collector Edition that
should move very quickly. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
