Here we have a 1964 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale. This was
the first introduction to the Mustang line and is commonly known as
the '65 Mustang. However, there were some variances which gives way
to the first year of the Mustang that many call the '64 . The one
we have for you has been redone back to factory specs and is a
beautiful example of quality convertible. In the paragraphs to
follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior,
and driveline of this Ford but first we would like to tell you a
little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this Mustang. The body on it
is all solid with great body lines and fit of the panels. We can
see all the gaps look to be even and that both doors, the hood, and
trunk have a great fit. It's been repainted in the factory optioned
Vintage Burgundy. The paint is showcased in the base coat clear
coat that has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous finish. It's
accented by the Black Convertible Top that was redone at the time
of the restoration. Also, you'll notice that it has the black boot
for when the top is down. All the chrome and stainless is beautiful
from the bumpers to the rocker molding and window trim. We can see
that all the glass is in excellent condition as well. To finish off
the exterior it's sitting on the 14" Steel Wheels with the factory
style Hub Caps and White Line Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this convertible. On the
inside, it's also done in the factory color option of black. It
features the bucket seats up front with bench in the back. The
seats have been redone in the Black Vinyl Pony Scheme and are in
excellent condition. Both door panels are equally nice and have had
new handles and arm rest installed. All new carpet was installed at
the time of the restoration as well along with seal plates. Looking
at the dash we can see that the pad is very nice. Also, all the
gauges are in excellent condition and working as they should. It
features the wood steering wheel and it ahs the knobbed digital
radio. Inside the trunk is all solid from the jams to the pan.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood
everything has a beautiful detail. The inner fenders are all solid
along with the firewall. This is a factory "F Code" Mustang which
means it was an original 260 V8 car. The engine all looks to be
original and is the 260 V8 that's dressed in the factory style
valve covers and air cleaner. The 260 V8 is mated to the 3 Speed
Manual Trans and the stock style rear end. When we look under this
convertible, we can see that it's all solid from the floor pans to
the frame. It's clear this car has been very well cared for over
the years. All the suspension is in great condition. On the highway
it's a pleasure to drive as the transmission shifts out smooth and
it handles with ease. Don't miss your chance to own this quality
convertible Mustang.
