1969 Lincoln Mark 3 please read my ad carefully. The car is
definitely not ready to show and it is in an enclosed trailer. I
parked this car inside my building near Shamokin PA 20 years ago
and it hasn't been touched since. The car was taken there for
storage with several other old cars. The idea was to wait until I
got around to restoring it but that never happened. The motor and
transmission were operating properly when the car was parked 20
years ago. Aamco rebuilt the transmission at 99,894 miles. I
recently loaded the car into an enclosed trailer and brought it to
NJ to sell. I haven't had the engine examined because I don't have
the available time. The only interesting or slightly positive thing
that I can say about the storage building in PA is that it appears
that the inside temperature doesn't go below freezing during the
Winter due to mine fires underground close by. We have not had any
engine problems with any of several vehicles that we have stored
long term and then removed and sold. I have discovered three
obvious problems with the Lincoln so far. The gas tank has a leak
so it will have to be replaced. The exhaust system has come loose
and part of it has been removed because it was hanging. The drivers
side door panel containing the window buttons has come loose and
will have to be repaired and reinstalled. The engine will not turn
over which means that there is a starter or electrical contact
problem. I'm getting too old to get involved in the needed repairs
so I would prefer to sell the car as is. Please Note The Following
