This 1976 Chevrolet Nova began life as a mundane 2-door post, but
has been transformed into a performance coupe in the image of the
Chevy Nova SS 350 muscle car of the late 60s. The Nova received a
full restoration with mechanical upgrades (2018) and the owner
states that the mileage shown (just under 58,000) is believed to be
actual. The exterior was professionally refinished in 2-stage GM
Torch Red and is in excellent condition. Chevy Rally wheels with
trim rings/spinner centers mount 15" BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires
and all chrome is excellent. The red cloth interior was carefully
restored and is quite compelling. Dash, door cards, tinted windows,
carpeting and headliner are all in excellent condition. A full set
of SunPro gauges has been installed and an aftermarket AM/FM sound
system furnishes tunes. That said, horsepower is the real story of
this Nova. The original 305ci/2v (Q code) engine is long gone,
replaced by a L98 350 Corvette motor that sounds awesome. It is
equipped with aluminum heads, nice street cam, Edelbrock Performer
EPS aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4V carburetor and stainless tube
headers that exit to a free-flowing exhaust system. The motor sits
in a spotless engine compartment with nice chrome accessories.
Torque is delivered through a 350 TurboHydramatic 3-speed gearbox
to a stout GM 10-bolt differential. The chassis is fitted with
power steering, power disc/drum brakes w/dual master and front sway
bar. This '76 Nova has been carefully restored and is truly a
Chevrolet 'Perfect Sleeper'. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
