2001 SLP SS Camaro
This car is as near perfect as you will find. The black paint is excellent. The center mounted exhaust looks and sounds fantastic. A local GM mechanic has been through the car. There are zero mechanical issues. It literally drives like a new car. The car has never been in the rain and has been garaged its entire life and this shows up with no fading or sun wear of any kind. The underneath of the car still looks new with the stickers and factory chalk marks still showing.
There is no mechanical difference between the 2001 and 2002 Camaro models. Both have the fantastic LS1 5.7 liter engine with the LS6 intake and LS6 clutch plus the Tremec T56 6-speed with the Hurst short-throw shifter. This car is a real joy to drive with excellent performance and power.
The SLP intake adds about 10 hp bringing this car up to 345 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The original air intake is in perfect condition and included with the car.
The Center Mounted Exhaust (CME) is fairly rare and original. It gives the car a unique look from the rear and sounds fantastic.
If you are looking for an excellent fourth generation Camaro, this is as nice of one as you will find anywhere.
Everything on the car works as it should, including the 12-disc CD changer.
