At the mention of the MG marque, most people immediately think of
driving a visceral two seat convertible with the wind blowing in
your hair. But did you know that MG also produced a smart and
elegant saloon body during the mid sixties? Called the MG Magnette
ZB, this charming sedan emitted the charm of an early sixties
Jaguar sedan. The ZB Varitone model displayed a striking two-tone
paint scheme, along with additional brightwork and leather
interior. Powered by a 1600cc four cylinder and manual
transmission, it retained the roadsters driving charms.
The ZB Varitone offered for sale here is finished in classic Black
and Old English White. Black leather upholstery with English White
piping complement genuine hand carved woodwork that adorns the dash
and door panels. This car has been restored and is in excellent
condition. A very elegant driver or show car, this is something
that will generate conversation wherever you go!
