Description:
The Ducati PaulSmart 1000 LE (PS1000LE) is a retro-styled NCR
replica motorcycle built by Ducati in 2006 to in commemoration of
racer Paul Smart's win at the Imola 200 race in 1972. A win that
defined Ducati's foray into racing. The bike is styled to resemble
the Ducati 750 Imola Desmo race bike that Paul Smart rode to
victory and the 1974 750 SuperSport it originally inspired. It is
one of the SportClassic series designed by Pierre Terblanche.
Modifications include:
1100 Monster engine with a 1080Kit to allow for easier starting and
the use of 93 octane. It sports a Moto Corse Intake, cam sprocket
kit. NCR exhaust, a STM Evolution slipper clutch, Ducati
performance opened outer housing for cooling. It has woodcraft rear
sets with a custom comfort bracket, an NCR oil cooler, a Ducati
performance belly pan, along with a ducati performance aluminum
front fender, it is rolling on Magnesium 10 spoke wheels with 99%
tread tires. Dampers are Ohlins Road and Tracks with custom valving
and 4 way adjustability. It also has a ohlins steering damper and
titanium bolts to hold the shock mounts. There was no Budget to
this build. Forks have a 30 mil cartridge kit. The brakes are from
a 1299 Panagale, with Bremo HP T drive rotors. It has NCR triple
clamps, the list goes on. This is a perfect mountain carver / track
weapon. Underside is very clean, and it fires up easily. It runs on
