This 1947 Oldsmobile Special Series 66 Club Sedan has a great
custom style that gives you the right upgraded elements while
respecting its vintage roots. It all makes for a sleek V8 machine
that's ready to hit the streets and command attention.
How does a classic instantly look so modern? You start by expertly
shaving the trim. That means the door handles, fender trim, badges,
and more were removed without a trace. That creates an ideal
setting to lay down the glossy red that highlights terrific design
elements like the curvy fenders and the sleek rear end. But since
this is a true classic American, they left room for the right
brightwork in places like the distinct grille, smooth wraparound
bumpers, and 17-inch polished Ridler wheels. And while this gives
you a very modern style, there's still plenty of room for vintage
hot rod flair, too. You see it in the car-eye headlight covers
w/Olds logo, dual spotlights, rear denser skirts, blue-dot
taillights, and full length custom pinstriping.
This is the kind of classic you're going to want to drive
everywhere, and you also know family and friends will want to come
along, too. That's why the interior was customized to be comfy. Two
rows of bench seats are finished in a nice tan upholstery, and the
carpeting feels plush. There are provisions for some nice features.
For example, this is ready for a new stereo that will connect to
the full upgraded subwoofer speaker system. And you just need to
replace a switch to restore function to the adjustable air ride
suspension. And because this is built with driving in mind, you get
an upgraded sports steering wheel, tilt column, and cleanly mounted
auxiliary readouts.
The dark inner walls of the engine bay funnel your attention to the
350 cubic-inch V8 in the middle. Not only is the block painted nice
and bright, but there's also plenty of polish on the air grabber,
brake booster, and valve covers. You already know these GM motors
are hardy powerhouses that love modifications, but it's also nice
to have something that already looks this fresh and runs strong. In
fact, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power
brakes, front discs, and modern tires all make this classic Olds an
excellent cruiser in today's world.
This is a distinct classic that's out to impress. So if you love
being memorable everywhere you go, don't let this Olds slip away,
call today!
