Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 is a real-deal Super Sport that
has been given the right restoration investments to be an even
better muscle car. That means sharp style inside and out, and even
more big block muscle under the hood.
The trim tag tells us this Chevelle was born in blue with a black
vinyl roof. So this Super Sport keeps that style, but upgrades it
correctly (a theme you see throughout this coupe.) The shade of
blue you see today has a deeper tone and a nice metallic glow. It
makes for an attractive and distinctive style that's ready for a
drive on a sunny Sunday drive. The well-done black vinyl roof adds
to this car's premium look, and at the same time, it coordinates
with the darker SS grille and rear panel as part of the
intimidation factor of this SS hardtop. Of course, it wouldn't be a
true '60s machine without plenty of brightwork and so they even
gave good-looking classic pieces like body-hugging chrome bumpers.
Plus, the hood vent trim, rally wheels, and rocker trim are all
part of a bright style that also shows off the attraction of a
Super Sport.
The factory-correct blue interior looks good against the blue
exterior, and this has a tidy and well-presented appearance. You'll
even appreciate the vintage details like the correct Malibu trim in
the seats and the working dome light. It's comfortable for family
and friends, and you even have features to keep them happy like a
retro-style AM/FM stereo and provisions for air conditioning (it
will need servicing to blow cold.) But the best features are all
about a driver's car. You have classic pieces like the front bucket
seats, a center console in-between, and a three-spoke sports
steering wheel. Plus, the column-mounted digital tach is a reminder
of this car's upgraded driver nature.
The engine bay looks great with the clean inner walls, a bright
Chevy engine block, polished valve covers, a matching air grabber,
and even a newer aluminum radiator. The callouts on this say 396,
but this has a performance secret. It's a BIGGER big block with a
454 cubic-inch V8. It inhales deeper with a Quick Fuel four-barrel
carburetor, and the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers give this
a terrific V8 tune. It's a strong runner that likes to hit the
road. And because it's made for all-around solid driving, you have
features that make it easy to enjoy, like a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and Goodyear Eagle tires.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the real-deal Super Sport
with a terrific driver-ready style. So if you like a powerful
muscle car that's made to hit the road - and look good doing it -
then you know this big block SS is your ideal hardtop. Call
