Vehicle Description
The Supercharged headline gets you instantly excited about this
1989 Ford Bronco 4x4. Plus, the HD axles, lifted stance, and plenty
more rough-n-ready upgrades make this your new favorite off-road
toy
This one makes an imposing first impression with its stance. The
Smoke Metallic paint fits nicely into this attitude with a look
that's as tough as granite. And the metallic gives this Bronco an
energetic look, but the overall paint and body presentation is that
you won't be afraid to use this as a real rugged 4x4. And the
metallic gray goes well with this Bronco's dark side. It includes
the black steel running boards, rear tow hitch, and the reinforced
section below the front bumper that mounts the tow hooks and winch.
Of course, the largest pieces of darkness are those wheels, and
truck people know that the 8-lug wheels are a sign of heavy-duty
axles borrowed from an F-Series Super Duty.
The interior has the right look and feel of a comfortable machine
that also is ready for whatever fun you want to do. After all,
these full-size Broncos are in-demand because you can carry plenty
of family/friends and even open it up to the world with the
removable rear hardtop. So fun and memories are at the core of a
4x4 like this. You also have nice features like power side windows
(the rear one will need servicing,) a cup holder center console,
cruise control, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth and
JBL subwoofers. And the driver's seat is a true command position.
You have front bucket seats, a grippy steering wheel, and a full
factory gauge package with tach. Plus, the B&M ratchet shifter
and a full array of auxiliary readouts let you know there's
something extra special in the engine bay.
There are a lot of people who are happy to see the larger 5.8-liter
fuel-injected V8 under the hood, but that's just the beginning of
an awesome power package on this one. It has a Kenne Bell
supercharger and Snow Performance water/methanol injection for
proper boosting (there are even six bottles of fluid that come with
the sale.) The extra power isn't about creating a Bronco for the
dragstrip. It's used for giving you serious muscle to thwart Mother
Nature. But you already knew that front the 7-inch lift, heavy duty
4x4 axles, deep treads on the Kevlar-reinforced Goodyear Wrangler
MT/R tires. This is best as an off-road toy, but it has the right
kind of controlled behavior on the pavement where it's not a
trailer queen, and you can drive it to the local shows and mud
events. In fact, with the power steering, front disc brakes, and
stout C6 three-speed automatic transmission, it has a touch of
cruiser within this bruiser.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the supercharged 4x4 you
always wanted to build, and this custom Bronco is ready right now.
