Every man has a dream and for the previous owner of this first-class top-shelf build, that dream came true. After this Camaro served its purpose as his daily driver in which he built a very successful business, it then took on the task of being each of the children’s high-school transportation. Fast forward a few years and after the sale of his business and time to retire, he had a dream of building what was once the family driver into the ultimate 1968 Camaro. Using ideas from a car he saw in the premier issue of the Maximum Drive magazine, it was time to hire the professionals at two different Custom Shops to take on the task. Afterall, the car deserved to be honored for the service it provided for him and his family. This meant that no expense would be spared resulting in what is the finest 1968 Camaro we’ve ever seen.

Combining a hot 502 Mark VI 502 CID, making the appropriate 502 HP, tough GM 4L60 Overdrive transmission, the rest of the build commenced. Making the ultimate Camaro was no easy task but the end result draws big crowds and big compliments. And if you're one of the many enthusiasts looking for a fun classic that's unrelentingly cool, this Camaro is your ticket to good times and great memories!

CRUISE IN STYLE

The beneficiary of a detailed, professional rotisserie restoration and lovingly coated in rich medium red metallic with black highlight hood accents, this awesome F-Body is as slick on the street, cruising through town or even on the drag strip! At the front of the car's classic body, a black-trimmed grille is topped off with a mirrored bumper. Above that grille, a Camaro-branded header kickstarts the black highlighted hood, which traverse a tasteful Yenko Stinger Hood and a second Camaro branded decklid that's finished with a traditional D80 spoiler. At the center of the car, the greenhouse rides between polished and chrome trim, polished wipers and painted mirrors. At the sides of that glass are second-year marker lamps, factory door handles and proud stainless-trimmed door and rear quarters. And at the back of the car, a second mirrored bumper frames the 1968-exclusive tail lamps and a traditional locking Camaro fuel cap.

POWER WITH A PUNCH

Hoist this Chevy's stinger hood and you’ll find 502 cubic inches of rowdy performance. At the top of that powerful mill, a chrome air cleaner funnels wind in to the Edelbrock Performer intake by way of an Edelbrock Performer Series Carburetor equipped with an electric choke. Under that fine-tuned plane you’ll find chrome GM direct valve covers and the expected MSD ignition. The front of the engine features a chromed and polished GM Performance serpentine drive spinning the modern power steering, a chrome heavy duty alternator, and the coveted Vintage Air Conditioning. Exhaust gasses are handled by the coated Doug’s headers and it’s all kept cool by a “Be Cool” radiator hanging big electric puller fans to take care of the cooling duties even on the warmest of days. And all that glitz is framed in satin black powder-coated fender wells and a perfectly clean and smooth firewall.

INDULGE

Combining modern aesthetic with timeless style, this Camaro's interior is nothing short of fabulous to cruise the day away! Fade-free carpet floats Chevy Bowtie mats between the timeless Lokar foot pedals. The Pioneer AM/FM/CD Bluetooth stereo sits above the hand-built console dressed up with the Lokar shifter and power window controls.

Simply put: this Camaro is a work of art and some of the coolest metal on the planet! As it sits, the car offers the best of both worlds: a solid cruiser, and a unique classic that sets itself apart from virtual acres of brightly colored pony cars and overwrought land yachts. Just give us a call and I’m sure you’ll want to schedule some seat time in this classic Camaro!
