Driven presents a beautiful black on black MP4-12C with only one
previous owner and less than 16,000 miles. A major service has been
performed, including fluids, filters, spark plugs, and upgrading
the battery to McLaren Li-Ion Generation 3. Four new tires and TPMS
sensors are installed to replace the original units. Paint
protection film covers the whole front end, both doors, and the
mirror caps. The MP4-12C was the first production car 100% designed
and built by McLaren. It was launched worldwide in 2011. The car is
driven by a 3.8 litre twin-turbocharged engine putting out
approximately 600 horsepower and 440 ft-pound torque. Peak
horsepower occurs at 7,500 rpm and peak torque at 5,600 rpm. The
gearbox is a 7 speed paddle shifted dual-clutch unit designed for
''seamless-shift''. The MP4-12C is beautifully designed and is
aging well against the current crop of McLaren supercars. With a
dry weight of 2,900 pounds it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in
2.8 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph in 6.0 seconds. Its super-cool
party trick is the automatically deployable air-brake where the
rear wing flips vertically on brake application to create
phenomenal brake performance: 125 to 0 mph in less than 5 seconds!
Driven's MP4-12C is in excellent condition and ready for its next
owner. The car has a clean Carfax, comes with service records,
Owner manuals, McLaren battery tender and two remote keys. A
one-year service contract is included.
