Single-family ownership for the past 17 years, the
Giugiaro-designed body is finished in Rosso Alfa (530) over a Black
upholstery. Special edition Balocco graphics salute Alfa Romeo's
Balocco test track in northern Italy and retains its original black
leather seats with red piping. A dashboard plaque designates this
GTV6 as number 145 of 350 special edition Balocco cars, and
additional equipment includes air conditioning, red carpets, and
power windows. The interior has the factory steering wheel with a
140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a quartz clock, while gauges
for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure reside in the
center of the dash. The six-digit odometer shows 12,237 miles and
the true mileage is unknown. Black 15? Campagnolo alloy wheels with
Alfa Romeo center caps and Yokohama tires.
The 2.5-liter Busso V6 is equipped with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel
injection, rated at 154 horsepower and 152 lb-ft of torque. Power
is sent to the rear wheels through a rear-mounted manual 5-speed
transaxle. This is a turn-key running and driving car that is in
