This 1973 GMC 1500 4x4 was previously sold on AutoHunter but is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. It has been with the seller for six months and is equipped with the reportedly original 350ci V8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Features include a transfer case, power steering, dual exhaust outlets, front disc brakes, a trailer brake controller, an aftermarket steering wheel and radio, and tinted windows. This orange GMC with a tan cloth interior is available now and comes with an owner’s manual, an LMC Truck catalog, and a clear Washington title.
The exterior was refinished in orange under previous ownership and comes equipped with a chrome front bumper, a black step rear bumper, chrome grille with a black insert, dual headlights, tinted glass, dual chrome mirror caps, and chrome step bars. Additional features include a chrome fuel filler cap, a full-size spare tire mounted in the bed, and a GMC-embossed tailgate with dual taillights and reverse lights. The seller notes that the inside of the tailgate has one spot of rust.
A set of American Racing D Window black steel wheels with manual front locking hubs is wrapped in Mastercraft Courser MXT tires installed in 2021.
The bench seat is covered with tan cloth and equipped with tan seat belts. The metal door panels are color-matched to the exterior and feature tan inserts, manual locks and windows, and black vinyl armrests. The body-color metal dashboard is topped with a crack-free tan vinyl dash pad. Interior features include black vinyl floor covering with black floor mats, a floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, an aftermarket trailer brake controller, door-mounted speakers, and an aftermarket stereo with a CD player. The seller states that there is a small tear in the upholstery under the seat cover, the parking brake and passenger-side door lock do not work, and a couple of corners of the dash faceplate are cracked.
A 100-mph speedometer, brake warning light, and gauges for the fuel level, amps, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in a black panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 38K miles, but the true mileage on the vehicle is unknown. The seller believes the true mileage is 138K miles.
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 engine with a 4-barrel carburetor and backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with a low gear. Underhood features include a chrome Holley open-element air cleaner, power steering and brakes, chrome valve covers, and original jack tools.
This pickup is equipped with part-time four-wheel-drive, solid front and rear axles, and manual locking front hubs. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.
