1979 Dodge Aspen 2 Door Coupe, 225 C.I.D 6 Cylinder - 2 Barrell Carb, Bucket Seats, T Bar Roof, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, Front Disc brakes, Sure Grip Differential, Good Condition, Original window sticker is shown in photo's. The vehicle was purchased new by my mom, parked in her garage in 1995 where it remained until 2009 when it was signed over to me & parked in my garage until the fall of 2010 when the basic restoration began. The engine was removed at that time. The engine received new valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, timing gear cover gasket, timing chain, timing gears, pioneer flywheel, spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, rotor cap, serpentine belts, fuel pump & water pump. Everything else on the engine is original. Some minor body rust & minor unibody frame rust was repaired. The engine was re-installed & the body restoration was completed with a complete exterior paint, color: Infernal Red Crystal in the spring of 2011. We then replaced the brake drums, rotors, calipers, pads, shoes, master brake cylinder, power steering pump, battery, wheel bearings & rear differential fluid. Gabriel Ultra shocks were installed to the front & Gabriel Hijacker Air shocks were installed on the rear. Then P235/60R 15 Michelin Avenger G/T Tires with Cragar S/S Super Sport Chrome Rims were installed to complete the vehicle. I do have the receipts to confirm these items. The vehicle debuted with my mom as a passenger at the September 2011 Woodward Dream Cruise. Then again at the 2012, 2013 & 2014 Woodward Dream Cruises. My mom's health deteriorated soon afterwards. The vehicle has rarely been out over the last 8 years. A 7-minute video showing the vehicle engine running, the interior, the exterior, the engine compartment & the trunk compartment is available upon request. Contact me with any questions you may have.
