Vehicle Description
This 1923 Ford T-Bucket is a passion project that has nice extras
everywhere from the convertible top to four-wheel disc brakes. And
when that is all wrapped around a dual-quad supercharged V8
powerhouse, you know this makes for a great roadster that loves to
move.
The bold gold color and fiberglass roadster body channeled over the
frame really give you the right roadster vibes. The builder made
this his passion project, and he was known to drive it plenty after
it was completed. So you will see signs inside and out of it being
used, but that's actually part of the charm. After all, some of
these T-Buckets often look like they get pushed out of the garage
and trailered to the show. However, in this case, you have an
extra-powerful roadster that also looks like it really hit the
road. And there's more allure in all the true classic details, like
the convertible top with jewel-like rear window, upright two-piece
windshield, motometer radiator mascot, and plenty of custom
pinstriping painted on top of the gold. Plus, the skinny wire
wheels up front and big Hoosiers in the rear is a true vintage drag
setup.
The interior is done in cream leather. So you can appreciate the
material and the way the full bench wraps around the interior.
There are the right classic details, like the small diameter
steering wheel, short floor shifter, and Stewart Warner readouts in
the wood dash. There are items that you may want to update, but we
bet you're going to keep some of the handcrafted style just to help
tell this roadster's full story.
The engine bay has flame-etched valve covers, a mirrored firewall,
polished components, and an overall tidy style. But what you'll
love the most is the all-out power. This is a 350 cubic-inch motor
that has performance upgrades like dual Holley four-barrel
carburetors and a Weiand blower. Oh yeah, this is a mean machine,
and it even has good components like a billet distributor and a
large electric fan. It fires up with an awesome thunder as the
Sanderson headers have an unfiltered rumble out of the pipes. This
is a classic hot rod setup with a hairpin suspension and a
three-speed automatic transmission. Plus, this was upgraded to
four-wheel disc brakes in 2021 for superior stopping power.
This T-bucket has the look of a carefully crafted true driver. And
at the center of it all is a wickedly powerful supercharged
powerhouse. Call today!!!
