For sale on Consignment is this beautiful restored 1971 240Z finished in British Racing Green. 1971 is a very desirable year for the 240Z in the US, as it is the last year with the slim bumpers and before US emissions, which resulted in a loss of power due to head and carburetor changes. This Z has been in ownership of the consigner for 26 years, after purchasing the car it has been restored and maintained well. Starting in 1997 the car was stripped and repainted, the interior was gone through, and the drivetrain was pulled and fully rebuilt. Since the restoration, it's been driven 2-300 miles a year, and was garage kept. Just in the last 10 years, the Z has received a full clutch kit, rear end service, valve adjustment, ignition tune-up, new SU round top carbs with new linkages, clutch slave/master cylinder, U-Joint service, and more. Powered by a 2393cc 2.4L I6 with a 4-Speed manual transmission, this car is a blast to drive and handles well. This Z has a rust-free body with only minor surface rust on the rear suspension components and is a great example to add to any collection. The Consigner has supplied receipts for the restoration and maintenance, as well as a vintage shop manual for the car.
