1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute
Car History
The 1967 Chevelle SS Tribute we have here at Adventure Classics is
fully restored in a beautiful bright red paint job with a rebuilt
350 cubic inch engine, with power steering, power brakes, mag
wheels, and a 3-speed automatic transmission.
The Chevrolet Chevelle SS is a mid-sized Muscle Car which was
produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through
1977 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body platform, the
Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates and the
SS was a great performance package and our tribute makes for one
inexpensive way to enjoy that great SS feeling.
Engine & Drivetrain
This 1967 Chevelle has a very street-able power plant with its 350
cubic inch V8 with a lot of speed and performance parts added such
as the Holley carburetor, aluminum intake, high performance yellow
spark plug wires, tube exhaust headers, dual exhaust, polished
Edelbrock finned aluminum valve covers, chrome open-element air
cleaner assembly, power steering, power brakes, and a smooth
shifting 3-speed automatic transmission.
The engine sits in a clean, painted and detailed engine compartment
and runs and sounds as well as it looks.
Interior
The interior is finished with twin black bucket seats with red
piping accompanied by a black center console with cupholders,
color-keyed dashboard, door panels, and matching rear seat, black
carpeting.
Look further and you will see the 3-spoke black aftermarket
steering wheel, custom stereo radio system, factory gauges, and of
course the chrome B&M 3-speed automatic shifter with the
T-handle in the middle of the floorboard.
Exterior
Our Chevelle boasts a great paint job in pleasing shade of red and
at first glance you can truly tell this is not your average run of
the mill restored 67 Chevelle as this beauty has a great paint job
over the set of body panels and great fitment.
It has the real muscle car look with SS and 396 badging on the
sides and rear, SS hood with the chrome power bulges, and the
sounds emanating from the built motor out the chrome exhaust tips
are nice.
It rides on Cragar chrome aftermarket mag wheels and is equipped
with high performance black sidewall tires.
Conclusion
You don't see many restored 1967 Chevelle SS tributes that look as
wicked as this one does with its slick red paint job and muscle car
stance, but we have a beauty here at Adventure Classics.
