mated to an automatic transmission that was rebuilt 4,000 miles
ago. Both the engine and transmission are in spectacular condition
as the engine starts right up without any issues and the
transmission shifts strong and smooth. This Pontiac comes in a
Cameo Ivory paint job complemented by a neat and tidy blue
interior.
Highlights include a factory accessory visor mirror on the
passenger side, factory accessory tissue dispenser, new timing
chain, new coil, rebuilt carburetor, 4 new coil springs, new front
shocks, 4 new wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, re-cored radiator,
new transmission lines, new kickdown switch for carburetor, new
starter, new ball joints, new control arm shaft, freshly adjusted
steering gear, new carpet, 4 factory T3 headlights, new rubber
seals, new window felts and 4 original factory floor mats. The car
also has power steering and power brakes, spare tire. The light in
the trunk even comes on when the trunk is opened.
The 1965 full-sized Pontiacs were completely restyled with more
flowing Sheetmetal featuring "Coke-bottle" profiles and fastback
rooflines on two-door hardtops. Wheelbases increased to 121 inches
(3,100 mm) on all models.
