1950 Plymouth convertibles from this era are as solid as they come. This car is an original color that is an excellent repaint. The interior is beautifully reupholstered in a correct style from this era. The convertible top is in excellent condition and functions flawlessly. The drivetrain is the original in-line 6 cylinder with an original 3 speed. The four-wheel hydraulic drum brake system was known as 'Safe-Guard' brakes and are still quite impressive.
This car runs and drives well, and cruises on the highway effortlessly. There are no major flaws that I am aware of. The original radio is still in the car, but does not work. It is easy to see that this car has been rebuilt and restored nicely over time, and that it has been well taken care of.
The car is garage kept, and even covered when in the garage. The vehicle is started at least once a week.
The perfect car for parades, classic car gatherings, or simply going for coffee on Sunday. This car is solid, and will appreciate rapidly.
